안녕하세요.

오늘은 제법 오래된 영상이긴 하지만, 한 때 화제가 되었던

신동엽 씨의 기타치는 영상을 준비해봤습니다.

 

일단 영상 먼저 보시죠!

 

 

 

 

처음 봤을 때 엄청 웃었는데,

그러면서도 기타를 너무 잘 쳐서 감탄했던 기억이 나네요.

 

특히 처음에 연주하는 Kansas - Dust in the wind 라는 곡은

쓰리핑거라는 주법을 이용해 연주하는데,

당시 기타를 배운 지 얼마 되지 않은 저에겐

굉장히 신기하고 멋있고 부럽게 느껴졌어요.

 

이 영상을 보고 조금 지나서 바로 악보를 구해서 연습에 들어갔는데,

신동엽씨가 연주하시는 부분까지는 생각보다 어렵지 않더라구요.

근데 저도 딱 저기까지밖에 못 친다는 거 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

 

Dust in the wind는 쓰리핑거 입문곡으로 굉장히 좋은 곡이니

아직 쓰리핑거가 뭔지 모르시는 분은 이 곡을 연습해보시는 걸 추천합니다.

(전주는 쉬우니까 전주까지만 연습하세요 ㅎㅎㅎ)

원곡 뮤직비디오 영상에도 잘 보시면

기타리스트 분의 오른손이 부지런히 움직이는 게 보일 겁니다.

쓰리핑거는 손가락 3개만 이용해서 연주하는 주법으로,

보통 엄지, 검지, 중지를 이용해 연주하지만

요즘은 곡에 변화를 많이 주다보니 다양하게 활용하고 있더라구요.

 

 

그리고 뒤에 연주하는 곡은 Led zeppelin의 Stairway to heaven이라는 곡으로,

사실 전체 곡 길이는 굉장히 길어요.

전주가 특히 유명해서 신동엽씨도 전주만 연주하시는데,

사실 제가 아는 사람 중에도(저 포함)

이 곡의 전주부분만 연주할 줄 아는 사람이 제법 많아요 ㅋㅋ

어떤 의미로는 전주가 그만큼 유명하다는 뜻이고

어떤 의미로는 전곡을 연주하기가 그만큼 어렵다는 뜻이기도 하죠.

이 곡은 사실 스페인에서 온 친구가 노래방에서 불러서 처음 들었었는데

발음이 좋아서 그런지 굉장히 매력적으로 들렸어요.

그 때부터 저도 팝송을 부를 땐 혀를 열심히 굴리게 됐지만

타고난 노래 실력 덕분에 여전히 전 '그냥 안 부르는 게 낫다'는 말을

더 많이 듣고 있답니다 ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ 내가 웃는 게 웃는 게 아니야

 

정말 전설적인 곡이지만,

노래가 길고 특히 앞부분에 저음 부분이 길어서

어지간히 매력적인 보이스와 출중한 노래실력을 갖춘 분이 아니시라면

노래방에서 부르는 건 추천하지 않습니다.
